Description:

Position: Transportation Dispatcher

Position Purpose: Join our team as a Transportation Dispatcher where you'll play a vital role in ensuring safe and efficient transportation for participants of the PACE Organization. Your main responsibility will be coordinating transportation activities, communicating with drivers and staff, and ensuring timely delivery of essential services.

What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate daily transportation operations, schedules, and communication with drivers and management.

  • Organize delivery of home-delivered meals, medical supplies, and pharmacy needs.

  • Assist in scheduling regular routes and participant appointments.

  • Reroute buses and driver assignments to meet participants' transportation needs.

  • Act as a liaison between departments, promptly reporting any schedule delays or issues.

  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and function as part of the Interdisciplinary Team.

Minimal Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum one year of experience working with frail or elderly populations, or willingness to undergo training.

  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
