How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

The part time Flights Ops Support role provides support to key projects and needs inside of Delta Air Lines Flight Training & Standards. This role works on an ‘as needed’ basis for the area assigned. Flight Ops Support Coordinators should have a basic understanding and knowledge of FAA Part 121 air carrier operations and moderate to expert knowledge of specific areas of focus. This position will report to the DPS Program Manager - Delta Flight Training Operations.

Essential Functions/Tasks:

  • Provide curriculum; compliance; or training support to Flight Training

  • Partner with Flight Training support teams to complete project tasks as assigned

  • Provide guidance to project tasks as assigned

  • Modify or create new training materials when needed

  • Track individual progress and report status of projects to appropriate leaders

  • Review standard procedures and provide feedback on changes

  • Specific duties as assigned by Flight Training management

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

  • Solid computer skills including proficiency with Office 365 and other Delta/DPS software.

  • Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining an attention to detail.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • Experience developing technology-based training or performance solutions preferred.

  • Experience analyzing, designing, and implementing e-learning programs for air-carrier pilots preferred.

  • FAA Pilot or Ground Instructor certificate preferred.

  • Able to handle day-to-day work challenges confidently enough to demonstrate flexibility, high stress tolerance, and strong decision-making skills.

  • Interacts with departmental and client leadership in accordance with the Delta “Rules of the Road
