Tortas Manantial #3 Indian School is looking to fill 10 temporary, full-time Cook positions from November 15, 2022 through November 14, 2025.

Work site: 10665 W Indian School Rd, Suite A, Avondale, Arizona 85392.

Duties include:Perform all methods of cookery, portion control and garnish for all dishes in accordance with the standards set by the executive chef, maintain high standards of quality food preparation to ensure guest satisfaction, inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work service or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices; prepare, cook, and season food according to recipes; handle a wide range of raw pork, pork rines, and other ingredients, handle food prep activities such as cooking chicken, cutting fruits and vegetables, preparing appetizers, pures, and fruit salads. Ensure food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, cooler warmer, stoves and ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items and rotating.

Requirements:Workers must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. Workers must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lb. No minimum education or prior work experience are required. On-the-job-training provided. All applicants must be able and willing to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified.

Terms and conditions of employment:Workers will be paid no less than \$16.11 per hour; Overtime rate is \$24.16 per hour. The wage(s) offered equal(s) or exceed(s) the highest of the prevailing wage or the Federal, State, or local minimum wage.

Pay details:The employer will use a single worksheet as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid on Friday (weekly) by check. The employer will make all deductions from the workers paycheck required by law.

Lodging:Workers are responsible for providing their own lodging.

Possible daily/weekly hours:Total of 36 hours per week. Schedule will vary weekly based on business needs from Monday to Sunday between 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Overtime possible. If overtime is worked, wage is paid at a rate of time and a half per hour worked.

Public transportation:Public transportation is available. Workers are responsible for daily transportation to and from the worksite.

Worker will be reimbursed by paid check for transportation and subsistence from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer if the worker completes fifty percent of the period of employment covered by the job order. Upon fifty percent completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will reimburse the worker for the reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be at least \$14.00 per day during travel to a maximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts.

Tools, equipment and supplies:All work will be done with employer provided tools, supplies and equipment without charge or deposit.

Miscellaneous:Employer will reimburse the H2B workers in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H2B w rkers (not including passport fees).
