Description

We are looking for an HR Coordinator to join our team in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate human resource files and records, providing support for various HR projects, and managing sensitive and confidential situations. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files and documentation.

• Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies.

• Create new files and provide necessary information on forms and reports.

• Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.

• Onboarding both Field and Office Workers.

• Support various HR projects and daily tasks as needed.

• Create badges for all new hires, create promotion letters & assist with terminations.

• Approve and Allocate Invoices for Backgrounds Online.

• Manage integrations from beginning to end.

• Comfortable with numeric data, analysis with numbers and MS Excel.

• Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and knowledge of HR procedures and policies.

• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations.

• Knowledge of MS Office and learning new technical systems as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar HR Coordinator role

• Bilingual Spanish is a must

• Demonstrated experience with HRMS and About Time software.

• Proven experience in conducting Background Checks.

• Familiarity with Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration.

• Knowledge of Compliance within the waste management industry.

• Proficiency in using Paycom software.

• Ability to Maintain Files in an organized and efficient manner.

• Experience in Onboarding new employees.
