This Position is for a Player Services Assistant Shift Manager with a company located in Biloxi, MS.

 

Job Summary: This position helps oversee the player services for the location.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: Schedules, coaches, and evaluates Main Player Services, Banks, and applicable Booths for optimum performance. Ensures proper and effective accountability of funds during the shift.

Completes required accountability and compliance paperwork for the shift. Coordinates with shift managers/supervisors of other departments to ensure timely, courteous service. Promotes outstanding guest service and provides employees with environment for success. Ensures that department is in strict compliance with company, state and federal requirements and regulations. Performs credit/check-cashing duties within the scope of his/her authorized levels. Maintains knowledge of property information, including memorabilia. Supervises all Player Services and credit Hard Rockers. 

 

Qualifications:  High School diploma general education (GED). Previous casino Player Services or credit experience required. Previous cash handling experience required. Must know and comply with requirements of Title 31 Bank Secrecy Act as pertains to Credit/Player Services transactions. Must possess basic computer skills and knowledgeable with casino computer systems, Microsoft applications, and timekeeping programs. Data entry skills preferred. Ability to balance shift and Player Services. Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. A Mississippi Gaming Commission work permit is required for this position. Must possess excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills. Must be very detailed oriented. Must project a professional and positive image. Must have a high level of energy. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to deal with people in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all Hard Rockers and guests. Ability to understand and promulgate written memos, instructions, regulations. Excellent telephone skills required. Ability to function with minimum supervision and make effective decisions during the shift.
