About the role:

As the DD&T Lead for USBU Rare Disease and Neuroscience Business Units you will develop and drive the Data, Digital, and Technology strategy that enables these teams to deliver products and services which meet the needs of customers and patients, HCP’s and caregivers while also driving sustainable growth. Join Takeda as a DD&T Lead for USBU Rare Disease and Neuroscience Business Units where you will Partners with the US Rare Disease and Neuroscience teams to understand business strategies and in turn advising and guiding them to get the maximum benefit from DD&T capabilities and also develop and lead the execution of an overall DD&T strategy tailored to business priorities which includes not only data and technology tactics but also necessary process changes and new colleague capabilities. . As part of the USBU DD &T team you will report to Head, USBU DD&T and work with Key Stakeholders.

How you will contribute:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact to the US Rare Disease and Neuroscience teams from DD&T, aligning DD&T’s strategy to business outcomes and accountable for program delivery.

  • Drives adoption of DD&T operating model throughout business teams embedding capabilities into business ways of working with clear roles and responsibilities.

  • Ensure that DD&T products and services are fully available in an effective an efficient manner for US Rare Disease and Neuroscience teams to deliver on their projects and priorities. Provide feedback to improve service quality and adoption.

  • Drive the transformation and adoption of Agile delivery and Product-based DD&T operating model.

  • Explore the ecosystem (internal, external) identifying current and emerging trends and technology in order to inject new insights for specific digital use cases.

  • Proactively understand the business strategies and the technology needs of the US Plasma Therapies business to determine short-term and long-term DD&T priorities .

  • Partner with technology product owner(s) contribute to technology product backlog and ensure business engagement throughout lifecycle.

  • Develop comprehensive change management impact assessment for all technology projects and ensure necessary actions taken.

  • Partner with other DD&T and Business teams to ensure that US Rare Disease and Neuroscience domain data is integrated into the overall ecosystem and is appropriately available to drive value and use.

  • Monitor DD&T product adoption and service quality and recommend appropriate improvement opportunities.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required; Graduate degree in relevant field is desired.

  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology .

  • 5+ years strong focus on Digital preferred.

  • Proven competences in innovation, strategic or visionary thinking, agile methodologies, and people management Bachelor's Degree is required; Graduate degree in relevant field is desired.

  • Understand digital technologies and their potential application and translate those into business opportunities, cases, needs, and implementation roadmaps.

  • Prior experience working with and managing third-party service providers preferred.

  • Experience directly & routinely interacting with a business unit's Senior Executives and/or VPs.

  • Proficient in project management practices, portfolio review, finance and budgeting.

  • Proven track record of effective project leadership and positive results.

  • Understands data and analytic tools and processes from operational reporting to advanced analytics and AI.

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$169,400.00 - $266,200.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
