The Program of Dental Hygiene in the School of Nursing and Allied Health at Western Kentucky University (WKU) invites applications for a nine-month Instructor, non-tenure eligible appointment, beginning Fall semester 2024 in the Dental Hygiene Program. The appointment is effective August 1, 2024. We are seeking candidates with strong clinical skills and desire to educate our students in the profession of dental hygiene. This is a 9-month full-time didactic and clinical teaching position in the Program of Dental Hygiene. Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility includes teaching/advising and service.

Direct supervision and evaluation of students in the clinical and/or laboratory settings.

Providing support for clinical and didactic activities.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must have a Master's degree by July 31, 2024.

  • Candidates must hold or obtain current dental hygiene licensure in Kentucky.

  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience.
