Aerotek Assembler in Broomfield, Colorado

Job Title: Mechanical and Electrical Assembly Technician $19-$21/hour

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical and Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team. The role involves using mechanical and electrical assembly techniques to assemble components, sub-assemblies, and major components for the manufacture of air pressurization equipment. The successful candidate must be ready to perform various assemblies and execute basic computer functions, such as printing labels. The electrical work is predominantly plug and play.

Hard Skills

  • Experience with hand tools in a manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge of hand tools - screwdriver, wrench, socket

  • 1+ year of production or assembly experience

  • Mechanical Assembly

  • Electrical Assembly

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Knowledge of brazing and refrigeration is a plus

Soft Skills

  • Ability to follow established safety, environmental, and quality policies, procedures, and practices

  • Capacity to troubleshoot issues with refrigeration components

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Broomfield, Colorado.

Work Environment

Our work environment is a Warehouse/Manufacturing setting, where standing for the entire shift is required. After a 3-month training period, a modified schedule is available: Monday to Wednesday from 7 am to 4:30 pm, Thursday from 7 am to 3:30 pm, and Friday from 7 am to 12 pm (no lunch). Overtime is currently available and voluntary, involving coming in early or staying late. This is a Contract to Hire position with a duration of 6 months, based in Broomfield, Colorado.
