System One Shop Technician in Broussard, Louisiana

Contract to hire opportunity in Broussard!

This position will be responsible for shipping, receiving, order selecting, and housekeeping tasks supporting oilfield operations.

Position Duties:

  • All duties are performed following applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards

  • Attend all safety meetings

  • Maintains a safe working environment and reasonably clean and tidy work area by picking up and storing all tools in their respective storage areas after using, discarding waste materials as often as necessary

  • Performs a combination of shipping and receiving duties

  • General housekeeping duties and maintenance

  • May operate heavy machinery [e.g. forklift, crane, etc.]

  • Responsible for making sure that all power tools, equipment, and hand tools are inspected daily and in good working order

  • Able to be on call 24-7 unless scheduled and approved for time-off/PTO

  • Other duties as assigned
