Amazon Brand Specialist - AVS - Media (Books) in Cairo, Egypt

Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) is a set of exclusive services aimed at building mutually beneficial growth through the delivery of targeted strategic improvements on the business inputs.

Key job responsibilities

AVS will support Vendor growth, focusing on:

• Increasing the vendor selection

• Improving the discoverability of the vendor products on Amazon

• Improving the content of the vendor product detail pages Supporting the vendor at executing a deal strategy

• Helping the vendor to secure availability of their products

• Increasing the vendor traffic

• Providing valuable insights into the vendor Amazon Business

• Act as vendor account manager; managing the below:

1- Education & knowledge about Amazon systems, tools, and processes

2- Building up selection & catalog quality Optimizing supply chain & inventory operations

3- Driving increased traffic/conversion Working Backwards

4- Share targets on business metrics to measure the success of the business impact the program is having during the subscription period.

5- Detailed monthly reports covering catalogue and traffic metrics to track their progress.

Vendors will have the option to be called-back by the Vendor Specialist if they have questions on the reports. Trainings and timely updates on internal changes, programs and tools relevant to grow their business on Amazon.

A day in the life

An Amazon Brand Specialist in Books GL works closely with internal teams like marketing, sales, and product management to develop and execute strategies that drive visibility and sales for publisher-owned book brands on Amazon as well as vendors. They identify and analyze customer trends to inform brand positioning and content, create engaging product detail pages, manage advertising campaigns, and monitor brand performance. The key customers are book publishers and vendors, and the role helps them navigate the Amazon marketplace, maximize discoverability, and grow their brand presence and revenue. Overall, the Brand Specialist acts as a strategic partner to publishers, solving challenges around visibility, conversion, and profitability.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field

  • Knowledge in MS Office programs (Excel, Word...)

  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills;

  • Fluent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial analysis, retail buying, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, marketing, business development, consulting, negotiation or supply chain

  • Experience using analytical specific tools such as Google Analytics, SQL or HTML

  • Vendor/Account management experience of 1-2 years
