The individuals in these positions are responsible for a portfolio of major gift prospects and is expected to identify, cultivate and solicit private financial support from alumni and friends of Southern Illinois University Carbondale. The successful candidate will be a member of the development staff and report to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Major Gifts and Gift Planning and work in conjunction with the Dean/Director of a School/Unit. Extensive travel, including nights and weekends, is required. The salary for this position is negotiable. We are seeking applicants for positions focused on School of Education, Student Affairs, and College of Liberal Arts.
