       This position is created from ESSER funding and will be realigned into regular funding after the 2023-2024 school year. PRINCIPAL DUTIESCompile and maintain accurate pupil absence records and generate reports utilizing student data management system.Handle office routine.File records.Handle telephone calls related to student absences and general school information.Track student absences and tardies.Run reports for attendance letters.Assist with student health services.Make reports to data processing.Complete weekly/monthly attendance record request forms for outside agencies.Other duties as may be assigned. CLASSIFICATIONSecretarial-ClericalGroup T7 hours per day. Nine (9) months.16.36 per hour EMPLOYMENT START DATE2024-2025 School YearPREPARATION, EXPERIENCE SKILLSKnowledge in the operation of computer/word processing.Successful experience in a responsible secretarial position.Ability to work under pressure with frequent interruptions.Ability to work with staff, students, and public.Good oral and written communication skills.Aptitude for figures.Accurate typist.Capable of representing the school in a professional manner.Flexible. The employee will sometimes push/pull items such as tables and carts.
