Wells Fargo Lending Operations Senior Manager-Asset Based Lending (ABL) in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lending Operations Senior Manager with the Global Lending Fulfillment Team within Commercial Banking Operations .

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop large Loan Production, Loan Servicing, and Commercial or Real Estate Construction Loan teams responsible for loan processing, documentation, pre-closing or closing tasks, loan monitoring, loan servicing, or underwriting activities

  • Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners, and peers associated with the Lending Operations functional area

  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Lending Operations functional area

  • Participate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised systems, policies, and guidelines

  • Oversee implementation of practices to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo legal, investor, regulatory, or business policies

  • Determine appropriate strategies and actions of Lending Operations team to meet moderate to high risk deliverables

  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures for meeting compliance, risk management, and quality standards

  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including experienced managers

  • Interact with external customers throughout the conducting of loan processing and liquidations evaluation

  • Provide quality customer service

  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Lending Operations

  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

  • Lead efforts to provide increased operational efficiency, standardization, and outstanding servicing to customer based

  • Be a visible leader, developing strong partnerships with line of business leaders, and providing outreach to internal customers and partners to effectively jointly serve our external customers

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years of Management experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in ABL (Asset Based Lending), Supply Chain Finance or Global Receivable Financing products.

  • 6+ years financial services experience

  • Prior experience with product servicing on LoanIQ, CHOICE, LUCAS systems of record.

  • Prior Six Sigma, LEAN process simplification experience

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to interact with all levels within the organization

  • Demonstrated ability to manage risk through identification of issues, root cause problem solving, and implementation of processes/controls

  • Demonstrated ability to manage managers and a large team across multiple locations

  • Experience leading teams through transformative change through effective coaching and communication
