Job Description

A mid-sized distributor company, specifically the world's largest wholesale distributor of swimming pool supplies, equipment and related leisure products, are growing at a rapid pace and is seeking an on-site physical security person (if alarms trigger, they are responsible to follow up on it -- security, fire, server, etc. alarms). This person needs to live in the Covington, LA area, able to drive to the 2 Northshore offices (very close to one another). Additional responsibilities/tasks will be related to field security items (security cameras and alarm projects), helping with key card access, being an escalation point for any warehouse malfunctions, communicate with the field (branch managers in this case) as different issues arise, and identify the right person in the organization who needs to be contacted to make the fix, etc.

Skills and Requirements

• Experience looking at / dealing with security cameras

• Excellent communication both written and verbal to communicate with the field, law enforcement as needed, etc.

• Experience handling key card access

• Familiar with Microsoft Teams and Outlook

• Comfortable with potential on-call work as needed null
