REGISTERED NURSE UNIT MANAGER OPPORTUNITY - FULL-TIME

Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is located in beautiful Flowood, MS, a thriving city outside the capital of Jackson. With a 120-bed capacity, Brentwood BH is the largest facility of its kind in Mississippi specializing in providing psychiatric treatment services to children, adolescents, and adults. Our multidisciplinary team works to create a treatment plan tailored to each individual patient in a structured nurturing and therapeutic environment. The Registered Nurse Unit Manager plans, provides, and evaluates direct and indirect care utilizing the nursing process. Assists in the development and directs patient programming and scheduling to ensure all elements are satisfied. Supervises patient teaching, ensures the individual treatment plan is followed, and documentation is complete. Assists the Chief Nursing Officer, Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, and/or designee in planning, implementation, education, and evaluation of staff. Contributes to the support of philosophy and objectives, educational efforts, and Quality Management efforts. Plans, provides, and evaluations all aspects of patient care from admission to discharge.

    Qualifications

    Minimum: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in Mississippi. Must demonstrate good mental health, be able to handle multiple pressures, possess critical thinking skills, observe and attend to details, and be able to initiate change. Current CPR or BLS Certification.

    Preferred : A Bachelor of Science in Nursing with one year supervisory experience in psychiatric setting. Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in Mississippi.
