Core Experience:

• 1 +year of customer service

• 1 + year of pharmacy related experience

• 1 + year of scheduling, insurance verification or healthcare exp

• Experience working with multiple portals while providing customer support

A Day in the Role:

• The Pharmacy Specialist assists customers with remote processing of orders through the Pharmacy channel.

• This position coordinates order processing with Pharmacist(s) and Pharmacy Tech(s) in accordance with normal order process.

• This position does not perform Pharmacy Technician duties.

• Taking calls on diabetes products.

• Assisting new patienst getting set-up with the supplies they need OR handling calls from existing patients

• Filling the prescriptions they have –

• Some of it is outbound, to call patients to re-enroll each year.

• 30-50 calls daily

Work Environment:

• Call center environment / open pit

• Small office

• Monday-Friday: 9:00AM-5:00PM

• This position would be ON SITE
