Keurig Dr Pepper Senior Manager, HR Compliance in Frisco, Texas

Job Overview

The Senior HR Compliance Manager leads the Human Resources Compliance team who conduct s research to prioritize and understand HR Compliance requirements and assist s in managing the third party leave administrator for KDP (Keurig Dr Pepper) . This individual serves as a full-scale subject matter expert on HR Compliance and partners with the broader KDP organization to lead and drive cross-functional compliance.   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides internal support for escalations within the HR Compliance Team and the broader HR Team and contributes to the building of internal compliance capabilities of the HR Team.

  • Partner and lead global HR Team to create and implement policy and process solutions that are compliant, scalable, and in alignment with KDP business practices, culture and values.

  • This role will ensure KDP remains compliant with equal opportunity, affirmative action, ADA and other related employment laws and regulations.

  • Leads annual and ongoing affirmative action planning activities.

  • Drive annual affirmative action activities and partner with HR COEs (Center of Excellence) and HRBPs to analyze and interpret data, research any concerns or potential barriers, and implement associated actions.

  • Review and interpret regulatory requirements that apply to human resources processes and communicate accordingly to impacted functions/teams , particularly in the leave of absence space.

  • Manages a team of LOA specialists to ensure compliance in vendor administration of the KDP leave program.

  • Operationalize policy and procedural changes in response to changing laws and regulations, interpret their potential impact on our existing policies and procedures and the organization to ensure continued compliance.

  • Collect, organize, evaluate and analyze employee data in preparation for annual compliance filings.

  • D rive annual affirmative action activities and partner with HR COEs (Cente r of Excellence) and HRBPs to analyze and interpret data, research any concerns or potential barriers, and implement associated actions.

  • Ensure that all federal government filings including the EEO-1 reports, VET4212 reports, and any other reports are filed accurately and on time.

  • Support HR associated activities to identify potential risks and make recommendations for mitigation or remediation efforts.

  • Results oriented and self-driven; proactively identifying and analyzing potential risk areas for the HR department and in partnership with other key business groups (Legal, EH&S, etc.).

  • Lead a team of HR Compliance specialists and c oordinate their work including m anaging a rotating schedule of general compliance inbox, adjudicating background screening results, and providing general compliance guidance to human resources and business partners.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    This position manage s a team of compliance specialists (individual contributors) and 1 manager who leads a team of 5 LOA specialists. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. Leads project teams and/or plan s and supervise s assignments of direct reports .

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and 7+ years of experience in HR Compliance or progressive HR Generalist roles; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Understanding of employment policies, processes and best practices in enterprise-wide HR practices. 

  • Experience with affirmative action planning and governmental reporting

  • Experience implementing and operationalizing policy changes in response to legislation and a changing regulatory landscape

  • Understanding of audit processes and procedures and ability to conduct internal audits

  • Experience in vendor management preferred

  • Experience with DOT (Department of Transportation) Compliance is preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to effectively partner across the business at all levels

  • Ability to review and analyze data to identify trends and make data driven decisions and recommendations

  • Demonstrated maturity when dealing with highly confidential information

  • Travel expectations estimated at less than 20%
