HFC, Inc. Ag Equipment Operator in Halma, Minnesota

Need 3 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag Equipment Operators to work in Halma, MN. From: 02/01/2024 to 11/30/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 8 hrs./day, Sat. 8 hrs./day. All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half. ESST Law: Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, Employers must provide each employee in Minnesota at least (1) hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours. Must Apply By: 07/02/2024 NOTE: JOB DESCRIPTION: Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery; Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production and much of which is equipped with GPS such as tractors, combines, sprayers, drills to produce crops such as potatoes, corn; Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions; Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors using bolts and hand tools; Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers to and from field or storage; Irrigate soil and maintain pipes and pumps. Work requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, and repetitive movements. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain a driver's license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. No HS Diploma/GED required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
