This position is for N1/N2 Swing Shift (2pm - 2am). Responsibilities: The Fab Production Control (Fab PC) operator is primarily responsible for starting all fab lots in adherence to the weekly production schedules. Fab PC requires good hand dexterity and ability to use the manual wafer wand to transfer fragile raw wafers into lot boxes for production. The Fab PC operator must have the ability to sit, stand, squat, reach, lift and push carts full of reticles and wafers. The Fab PC operator must follow detailed specifications with high attention to quality and detail. Fab PC is responsible for providing a daily lot release schedule to the operations teams in order to maintain an appropriate cadence of lots entering the production line. The Fab PC operator also works closely with global planning, logistics, and engineering to exchange information and achieve desired goals. Fab PC is responsible for ordering raw wafers needed for lot starts and transferring that inventory into the cleanroom in an organized fashion. Fab PC is also responsible for reticle management to/from the fab. Reticles must be unboxed, accurately entered into the Mask Man database, and delivered to the fab. Full reticle audits must be conducted once per week in which many sets of reticles are transferred to/from the fab based on what products are inline. Fab PC operators will also monitor MST help desk system and perform lot splits and various MES transactions in support of factory needs. The Fab PC operator must be highly organized in their work methods, be highly motivated to support organizational goals and must be customer oriented. The Fab PC operator must be willing and able to adapt to a fast paced and quickly changing environment and be flexible to support critical factory needs, which may require working extended hours or overtime as needed on nights, weekends, or holidays. Qualifications: A professional, positive attitude with the ability to work alone and/or in a team environment. A strong work ethic, including the willingness and ability to work OT in support of achieving factory goals. Must be flexible and able to adjust to changing goals and objectives throughout the workday. Excellent workstation organizational skills with the ability to multitask. Demonstrated commitment to quality by adhering to detailed specifications. Ability to stand for extended periods of time, constantly lift lot boxes that weigh 7 pounds, and push carts full of wafers or reticles. Fluent in the use of computers: maintain adequate documentation/records, monitor/respond to email, MES, SAP, MS Excel, MS Word. Good hand dexterity, i.e., ability to handle fragile production wafers using a wafer wand. High motivation with the ability to be a self-starter. Good written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to speak in team meetings and small group settings. Ability to positively and productively interact with engineering, maintenance, leads, and supervisors from all shifts in support of factory goals. Prefer a minimum of 1 year of experience at Qorvo in the factory. Qorvo will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorizations for this position.
