Nucor Rebar Fabrication is seeking a leader for the position of Sales Manager to provide strategic direction, commercial leadership, market focus and alignment among peer group. This Department Manager level position reports directly to the General Manager. Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Leadership role in promoting Nucors Mission ensuring safety is instilled as a value, an appropriate focus on community & environmental stewardship, and a proven focus on profitability. Responsible for leading and executing the commercial strategy and aligning the team around the strategy, consistent with the Nucor Enterprise Strategy. Possessing ability to become an expert in regional markets, competitive landscape, and know where every ton goes into the market and our pertinent market share. Developing a commercial structure to execute the strategy. Developing team members through building relationships, training, and individual coaching. Implement a sales process to analyze data and utilize commercial experience to think and lead strategically. Work collaboratively within the Nucor Rebar Fabrication Leadership team to lead the entire division through capital planning, long term strategic initiatives, teammate development, and overall business management. Work collaboratively with other Sales Manager for alignment and national focus.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Five years' combined experience in commercial, sales, and/or marketing.

Administration and Management: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources, leadership technique, production methods, recruiting, and coordination of people and resources.8. Communication: The ability to give full attention to what others are saying and communicate information so that others will understand.

Preferences:1. Four-year degree in Business or Marketing.2. Three or more years of Sales/Commercial Leadership in heavy industrial or Civil/Industrial Construction environment.3. Willing to relocate within Nucor as future advancement opportunities arise.
