We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operational Excellence Site Lead to join our team. The Operational Excellence Site Lead will be responsible for driving operational excellence initiatives at our Kennesaw, Georgia factory. This individual will play a critical role in improving processes, optimizing resources, and enhancing overall efficiency to achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads small to medium transformation initiatives that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions focused on continuous improvement.

  • ​ Coaches lower-level and peer employees on how to apply Carrier Excellence tools and methodologies in business and manufacturing environments to drive best in class processes while working to become a recognized Carrier Excellence Practitioner/Carrier Excellence Master.

  • Coaches lower-level and peer employees on how to apply best practices related to quality control procedures to effectively evaluate an organization's products.

  • Leads small to medium Carrier Excellence Site Assessments to enable Carrier Excellence site and cell certifications.

  • Compiles potentially complex monthly Carrier Excellence Performance Metrics that focus on organization objectives in the areas of cost, efficiency, and quality are met.

  • Demonstrates and coaches lower-level and peer employees on the proper application and interpretation of the Carrier Excellence criteria in order to gain certification as a Carrier Excellence Silver/Gold assessor.

  • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for the development of Carrier Excellence training materials to ensure a successful Carrier Excellence Certification Program.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to gain buy-in and support for initiatives.

  • Prioritize safety and compliance with regulatory requirements in all operational activities.

  • Implement measures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree & 7+ years of Operational Excellence/ Process Improvement experience OR Master’s degree & 5+ years of Operational Excellence/ Process Improvement experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering, operations, technology.

  • Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt Certifications.

  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to effectively communicate, drive and execute projects, and ability to problem-solve.

  • Technical writing proficiency for creating, reviewing, and approving protocols/reports, work instructions, forms, and SOPs.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Language, and an open attitude for continuous improvement.

  • Ability to perform under stress and meet project timelines, work cooperatively, and respectfully with others, to lead others using project planning skills and documentation.
