The shipping/receiving clerk provides the initial inspection on incoming commercial items from suppliers and final quality check on the orders to the customer. They help to promote the high standard of customer service that Maag has built. Ensuring that all orders are received accurately and shipped on time to our customers. Position Description - Tasks, Responsibilities, and Competencies Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies. Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. Operates a forklift to load/unload trucks and to remove/replace items on inventory shelves. Inspects, identifies, tags and receives all commercial items ordered from suppliers Packs items securely for shipment on UPS, Fed-Ex, DHL and truck shipments. Uses current business system to print packing slips and identification tags for sales orders. Works with purchasing to resolve discrepancies on incoming shipments from suppliers. Pulls, issues and delivers items for job orders spare part orders, projects, and inventory. Maintains an accurate inventory transaction in SAP. Operates a handheld scanner and accurately counts inventory daily. Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area. Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
