Responsibilities -- Body Shop Metal Tech

• Perform a thorough teardown of damaged vehicles and prepare supplemental damage list for estimator
• Perform collision repairs to all makes and models per various insurance company estimates
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical window and seat components, interior and exterior trim, and any other components necessary to access to damaged area(s) of vehicle for repair
• Repair dented/damaged vehicle body panels or components
• Replace damaged panels, grilles, or other vehicle components that cannot be repaired
• Inspect replacement parts for damage and correctness prior to installation
• Frame repair -- pull and straighten
• Aim headlights, adjust body components (doors, hoods, lift gates, tail gates, bumpers, etc.)
• Keep work area neat and clean

• Properly use shop equipment (welders, torches, frame rack, a/c machine, etc.)
