Humana Senior Accounts Payable M&A Professional in Louisville, Kentucky

The Professional will report directly to the Associate Director of Source to Pay Operations. This individual will analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develop sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable improvements to the Mergers & Acquisitions integration processes. The work assignments will involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. This Professional will work across all business areas and all job levels at Humana to collaborate, manage projects, and implement process improvements. This role will manage acquisition initiatives from an Enterprise Procurement and Supplier Management (EPSM) perspective. This includes training, inquiry resolution, attending and/or facilitating all meetings, communicating with acquired companies, and process decision-making.
Integrate acquired companies into Enterprise Procurement and Supplier Management and Accounts Payable/Procurement systems and standard processes, with careful consideration of acquired entities' unique needs and customs, and associate change sensitivity appropriately.
Maintain accountability of multiple teams to promote smooth transition of processes from acquired company to Humana standard processes, especially Accounts Payable's Invoicing, Payments, and Vendor Management
Work closely with Procurement Operations, Contracting, and Corporate Payables to ensure a seamless end-to-end experience for Humana associates, acquired company associates, and vendors
Update senior leadership and EPSM team on current status of integration projects, roadblocks, and timelines
Schedule and facilitate meetings, create and retain artifact documents as needed
Align teams and standardize communications for associates and vendors of acquired companies.
Provide trainings on AP & Procurement systems and standard processes to associates of acquired companies
Provide customer service during transitional period to alleviate change management impact on associate population for acquired companies, i.e. email support, cadenced 'Open Office Hours' meetings, etc.
Drive change and behavior through influence, not mandate
Lead/Manage implementations focused on continuous process improvement, simplification, system enhancements, improving quality, governance and controls, while maximizing resources and improving efficiency and productivity
Work cross functionally on acquisition integrations
Collaborate with appropriate leadership, workstreams, and Business partners on acquired entities' unique systems' integration into Humana Finance, AP, & Procurement systems, as needed, to meet both AP/Procurement and Business Needs, ensuring smooth integration with no to minimal impact on Operations
Act as a Finance liaison, partnering with associates from other business areas on special projects
Identify and drive Source to Pay projects to improve M&A processes
Work closely with EPSM Project Managers & maintain M&A project task plans for active integrations
Work closely with EPSM Project Managers & maintain RACI documents as required

Typically requires 4+ years of technical experience
Project management experience
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or a business related field
Strong technical and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in an ambiguous environment
Demonstrated ability to look beyond the obvious to find root cause & innovative solutions
Ability to influence others and work with others effectively, build rapport and establish good working relationships
3 to 5 years of Source to Pay Knowledge
Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, Oracle ERP and multi-dimensional databases
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, both as a lead and as a part of a team
Ability to work in a team environment to collate and act upon feedback from all levels within the business and sourcing environments
Ability to manage multiple priorities of business partners in a complex, multi-business segment environment
Strong financial and business acumen required
Ability to assimilate, analyze, draw conclusions, and make recommendations from multi-faceted and often ambiguous data
Ability to motivate project team members and stakeholders to meet established deadlines
Ability to be flexible and willing to learn new skill sets quickly as the need arises
Effectiveness in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to create and deliver effective presentations and training
Preferred Qualifications
Six Sigma Certified
Previous experience Salesforce, Monday.com
Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$57,700 - $79,500 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
