This Position is for a Branch Manager with a company located in Madison .

 

Job Summary: The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall health of the branch operating unit. The Branch Manager should create a positive work environment, encouraging a culture of customer service and positive employee morale. Through solid leadership of people and delivery of excellent customer service, the Branch Manager is accountable for delivering on the financial objectives of the organization.

 

Responsibilities and Duties: Manage daily sales performance via trainers and sales leaders, and partner with them to reach/exceed sales goals to drive profitable sales growth. Ensure execution of all sales strategies. Engage in community outreach and develop relationships; be the market expert relative to competitors and community activity, as well as potential acquisitions. Take part in key customer engagement. Full responsibility for P&L to meet or exceed all established financial goals and targets. Be the escalation point for customer issues. Be the liaison for Enterprise and Shared Services resources, products, and services. Partner with Shared Services to ensure a positive customer experience. Drive/implement company-wide initiatives. Communicate systems/process improvements or suggested new processes to the RVP for further evaluation and escalation. Manage sales, operations, and administrative teams. Manage accounts receivable, revenue collection, and customer attrition to acceptable levels. Hire and promote the talent needed to meet or exceed plan. Develop team members, including close engagement with and participation in, technician training. Create and maintain a healthy work environment where employee engagement is high, including reinforcing Vector's strong culture relative to our purpose, mission, and values. Retain high performing talent through engagement, development, and career opportunities. Engage in strong performance management, i.e., establish goals, hold meaningful career conversations, conduct on-going / meaningful performance discussions, and hold meaningful year-end assessment conversations. Recognize team members for their contributions and achievements. Hold all team members accountable for their work and make difficult decisions when team members aren't meeting performance expectations.

 

Education and Qualifications: College degree preferred; H.S. or equivalent. Experience overseeing business operations, as well as human resources, finance, and communications. Ability to delegate, collaborate, and motivate across a range of departments.  Ability to effectively and efficiently solve problems and challenges. Maintain a customer-centric focus. 

Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history.
