Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.The Impact You'll Make in this RoleAs an R&D IT Analyst you will manage a portfolio of CAD, CAE, CAM and other R&D and engineering applications. The Global Technical Computing Services team supports the global R&D and Engineering community with the applications that they depend on to deliver the best-in-class products and technologies that Make a Solventum leader in the health care space. It also maintains and supports the high-performance computing environment that enables the Solventum modeling & simulation experts get the most out of our software.In this position you will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise to partner with some of the most innovative engineers and researchers in the world. Here you will make an impact by:Supporting our engineers and researchers in making the most efficient use of the applications in your portfolio.Optimize the cost of our investment in the applications in your portfolio and design the cost recovery models for those applications.Partner with the Engineering, Product Design and Modeling & Simulation leaders to define best practices, optimize integrations, explore new capabilities and technologies to address their business needs.Apply your expertise to explore, coach, define and document best practices in the use of the tools in your portfolio.Facilitate training and awareness workshops with vendors for the Solventum R&D community.Partner with help-desk personnel to ensure responsive front-line support for the applications in your portfolio.Partner with HPC staff to ensure your applications are accessible and functional in the HPC environment.Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higher AND (4) years of demonstrated computer administration, networking and troubleshooting skillsORHigh School Diploma/GED from AND (8) years of demonstrated computer administration, networking and troubleshooting skillsAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Excellent interpersonal, written, and team collaboration skills.Experience working in a CAD/CAM/CAE environment.Product / Project management experience.Customer support experience.Experience working in a PLM system managing CAD and simulation data.Experie ce with scripting languages, CAD automation, Knowledge capture.Ability to multi-task, learn, and work independently.Travel: May include up to 5% domesticRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedLocation: Remote - United StatesMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-beingSolventum offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
