DeWys Manufacturing, Inc is seeking General Manager, who will oversee all aspects of our non-ferrous metal fabrication operations with a focus on driving business growth and profitability. In addition to the managing day-to-day operations and ensuring operational excellence, you will be responsible to expand market share and achieve revenue targets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve company objectives and growth targets. Set the vision that aligns with overall DeWys Metal Solutions plan.

Operational Management: Direct and oversee all manufacturing operations including production planning, scheduling, quality control, and inventory management.

Sales Management: Lead the sales strategies with the sales team to meet or exceed revenue goals. Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and provide actional insights for improvement.

Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and optimize cost-efficiency across all operational areas.

Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain stringent quality standards and processes to ensure product excellence and customer satisfaction.

Team Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team to drive performance and foster a collaborate work environment.

Customer and Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers to enhance business partnerships and identify growth opportunities.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies. Continuous Improvement: Champion initiatives for process optimization, lean manufacturing, and technology adoption to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.

Facility and Machine Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the facility and machinery. Coordinate preventative maintenance programs, repairs, renovations, and improvements to ensure a safe and functional working environment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the DeWys Stainless Solution team and care to help each team member to achieve personal, professional, and financial goals.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

•  Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
•  5 or more years of proven experience in manufacturing
•  Strong technical knowledge of metal fabrication processes.
•  Proficiency in ERP systems.
•  Knowledge of ISO 9001
•  Strong problem-solving abilities and a track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as blueprints, work orders, engineering specifications, safety rules, work rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information, communicates, and responds to questions from team members, customers, and suppliers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Must pass the DeWys competency test.
