What We Do:

The Leadership College team is the center of excellence for leadership development within Capital One University. We provide a platform for leaders to access learning programs, tools, and development experiences while building a sense of community among our 10,000+ leaders across Capital One. In 2024, our team will be focused on continuing to enhance the Leadership College platform and delivering existing programs including Leadership Lighthouse, People Leader Fundamentals, and the Leader Labs. We are also building and launching Capital One Leads, a six month cohort-based development program for new people leaders across Capital One.

Who We’re Looking For:

Our team is searching for a program manager who will be responsible for the planning, logistics and program support for leadership development programs within Leadership College. This will include both in-person and virtual program management for both open enrollment classes as well as cohort based programming. Ideally, this person would:

  • Manage all aspects of program planning and delivery including scheduling, logistics, registration, communications, delivery, and evaluation

  • Identify, recruit, and manage facilitators, speakers and volunteers as needed

  • Support program evaluation through collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data in order to assess the impact of the program and identify suggestions for improvement

  • Support the creation of decks and communications to provide updates to key partners

  • Contribute to, manage, and iterate upon the Leadership College strategy while also displaying ownership for our broader content, marketing, and platform development

  • Be able to attend multi-day in-person events, including occasional evening activities after work hours

  • Contribute to and partner with a collaborative, fun, and growth-oriented team that works together to deliver on our goals

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

  • At least 3 years of experience in event planning or program management

  • At least 2 years experience supporting leadership development programs or cohort-based learning programs

  • At least 1 year using google suites and Docebo

  • At least 1 year experience with data management and analysis

  • At least 1 year experience with vendor management

  • Able to lift 40lbs, move boxes and supplies, and be expected to stand for long periods

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience working with an agile team of designers, facilitators, and program managers

  • At least 2 years of experience in Business Process Management, Project Management, or event planning

  • Process or Project Management Certification or event planning experience

  • At least 2 years managing projects related to DIB, Performance Management, Talent Management, or learning and development
