Job Title: Quick Lube Technician Company: Walker Acura Location: Metairie, Louisiana Type: Full Time – Hourly Technician / Skilled Labor / Contractor Job Summary: Walker Acura is seeking a skilled and motivated Quick Lube Technician to join our team. As a Quick Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing oil changes, tire rotations, and basic maintenance services on a variety of vehicles. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment. Responsibilities: - Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance services according to manufacturer guidelines - Communicate with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle maintenance and recommended services - Inspect and diagnose potential issues on customer vehicles - Install and balance tires - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Continuously learn and improve technical skills through on-the-job training and manufacturer-provided courses Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - At least 1 year of experience as a Quick Lube Technician or similar role in the automotive industry - Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Valid driver's license and clean driving record - ASE certifications are a plus but not required EEOC Statement: Walker Acura is an equal opportunity employer and provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
