Global Metals company is seeking an ambitious Metallurgist to be involved with Product Development, Process, and Quality throughout their plant going through immense growth and investment. responsibilities:

• Undertaking physical inspection of products and using judgement and/or making recommendations to make decisions on related to material disposition applied to the customer.

• Investigation and evaluation of customer complaints, with the responsibility to formulate and implement corrective action procedures.

• Collection and presentation of market intelligence information.

• Coordinate operational information and data for the operating departments.

• Autonomously coordinate, with limited supervision during routine operations, and assist in solving production problems and training in the Melt Shop and Rolling Mill.

• Comply with company policies and procedures.

• Accountable for documenting, coaching and teaching team members, as well as other employees on quality process and principles to promote technical knowledge.

qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced

• Minimum 3 years of experience

• Education: Bachelors (required)

skills:

• Metallurgical Engineering (5 years of experience is preferred)

• Project Management (2 years of experience is preferred)
