Summary:

Direct and manage project development from beginning to end and seeing that it is completed successfully within the given deadline and budget. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop full-scale project plans, financial plans, quality audit follow ups, and associated communications documents. In general this person is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of multiple, simultaneous projects ensuring consistency with UNCHCS strategy, commitments and goals.

Project Management: Ability to control and manage assigned projects within parameters identified. Manages resources, tasks, and balances priorities.

  • Leads complex projects to successful completion using PMI or Lean Six Sigma methodology

  • Lead programs with a focus on implementation, collaboration, success metrics, and KPIs.

  • Able to influence and gain commitment from all members of project team

  • Able to identify and manage resources necessary to meet project needs (budget, personnel, and leadership)

  • Able to obtain and maintain executive support for project through communication and leadership

Problem Solving & Implementation: Knowledge and ability to propose and create solutions based on information provided from process and problem analysis. Capable of converting information into functional implementations that delivers solutions.

  • Able to resolve conflicts and implement solutions in assigned areas and work with leadership to resolve across multiple departments.

  • Identifies data-driven methods for solving problems which eliminate steps, speeds processes, and reduces complexity.

  • Challenges leaders and their current processes when improvement is needed

  • Develops interventions and initiatives based on data

  • Expertise in managing changes within projects, including assessing the impact of changes, communicating changes to stakeholders, and ensuring smooth transition and adoption.

  • Commitment to continuous improvement by identifying areas for optimization and implementing best practices to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of project management processes.

Other Information

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or related field or equivalency.

Professional Experience Requirements:

  • If Master's degree, requires two (2) years of professional experience in project management related work.

  • If a Bachelor's degree, requires five (5) years of professional experience in project management related work.

  • If an Associate's degree, requires nine (9) years of professional experience in project management related work.

  • If a high school diploma, requires thirteen (13) years of professional experience in project management related work.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of project management techniques and tools required.
