Job Description

As a Telecom Design Technician, you will be supporting Project Managers, using drafting software to create plans, and performing design work. Travel to job sites for observation or field work may be required in all types of terrain and weather conditions. The Olsson Telecom team provides clients with services ranging from long haul outside plant design, building entrance design, Fiber-To-The-x (FTTx) design, GIS Asset Management / Fiber Mapping services, and project permit coordination.

• Ability to meet project deadlines.

• Associate’s Degree in Drafting or similar program is preferred, not required.

• Minimum of 10 years of drafting experience preferred.

• Knowledge of CAD (AutoCAD)

• Knowledge of ArcGIS Software (ArcMap and ArcPro) is preferred
