The Supervisor for the New Business Development (NBD) team will have an exciting opportunity to impact the team structure and cadence. This position is responsible for frontline supervision of the Sales Development team in alignment with the strategic goals for Marketing and NBD.This role will have direct Supervisory oversight of the NBD-Qualification Team and Digital Sales territory. WHAT YOULL DO: Be responsible for interviewing, onboarding, mentoring, performance management in accordance with company guidelines and drives a positive, transparent culture of accountability to achieve Univars company objectives Run the Business, Grow the Business, Change the Culture Conduct weekly one on one with each team member providing constructive feedback to aid in employee career development and achievement of goals Provides open and innovative feedback to Sr. Manager regarding team needs Collaborate closely with Corporate Marketing to facilitate the execution of marketing campaigns Measure and report Daily & Monthly Metrics and communicate results to team, Inside Sales Manager Understand, promote and support adaptation of team tools and suggests tool gaps Collaborate with field managers as need for a success transition of leads to the field Review and update job aids to foster process consistency and ease of new hire onboarding Travel as required. WHAT YOULL NEED: High School Diploma required Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience 3-5 years of experience in Chemicals industry with sales 2 years management/supervisory experience a plus, internal organizational in lieu of previous B2B sales supervision a plus. Knowledge of SAP, Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office applications Evidence of team building and motivational skills Strong organizational and time management skills WHERE YOULL WORK: Dublin, OH. Hybrid role, twice a week at the office.
