FORT BEND COUNTY MUNICIPAL Administrative Assistant - District Attorney in Richmond, Texas
JOB SUMMARY:
Assists the First and Second Assistant District Attorneys in the completion of their daily responsibilities. Participates in planning of programs, policies or objectives for own work group and department.
Responsibilities
- Performs administrative functions to support the office administration.
- Assists in preparation of office budget.
- Processes facility maintenance issues, IT and equipment repairs.
- Responsible for assigned tasks including U-Visa applications, CJIS reporting, Brady/39.14 compliance requirements.
- Preparing audio/video presentations using standard presentation software.
- Social media posting and analytics.
- Enters/corrects/modifies/searches/compiles statistics and information.
- Serves as back-up to Senior Administrative Assistant and Administrative Manager.
- Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED.
- 3 years job related experience.
- Strong computer and typing skills (minimum 40 wpm).
- Must have knowledge of Word and Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal skills and the ability to interact effectively with other employees and the public.
SALARY:$17.60 - $22.00 hourly based on qualifications
