Cashiers are an important part of the work of the Thrift Store. Work directly with the many diverse people who visit the store, and it is your job to help create a friendly and helpful atmosphere, to ensure that sales are processed properly, and to keep the store clean and well-organized.

• Ability to stand and work on your and work on your feet for an 8-hour shift.
• Record sales in the cash register. Accept money for purchases and give accurate change.
• Balance cash drawer daily. Prepare starter bags daily.
• Provide friendly and courteous customer service, being always attentive to customers. Greet customers, answer customer questions.
• Merchandising
• Handling and Moving Objects - Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
• Performing General Physical Activities.
