Job Description

Summary

The Bilingual Employee Relations Partner is responsible for providing consistent, tactical Employee Relations consultation to Managers and Employees to resolve employee issues and advise on employee conflict resolution, disciplinary action and/or termination. They will conduct Human Resources (HR) related investigations to ensure that employee issues are resolved in adherence to all company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations and manage resolution by provide recommendations to Operational Management and Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) as appropriate. They will analyzes and interpret data to monitor employee relations trends in order to aid Operations Management in addressing the trends in a proactive and preventative approach. This position will provide guidance and interpretation of policies and procedures to minimize the company's legal liability.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee daily administration of reported concerns within ServiceNow and Navex systems. Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations; developing investigation plans, conducting fair, neutral, and timely investigations in accordance with company policies and procedures and federal/state regulations.

  • Oversee employee relations matters by ensuring policy interpretation for supervisors and managers in demonstrating the ability to handle employee conflict resolutions, disciplinary actions and/or termination guidance

  • Partner with Operational Management/Business HR/ Labor Relations/Legal Teams to create solutions to complex Employee Relations solutions

  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality Human Resources support for the company through: performance management, mitigating risk in legal compliance, administration of relevant clauses/provisions within union Collective Bargaining Agreements (as applicable), employee communication, and collaboration with COEs

Additional Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and employment legislation within region

  • Travel as needed to company sites within supported region

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to conduct sensitive investigations and identify violations of federal, state and local regulations and/or violations of company policies and procedures

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills

  • Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to remain impartial during investigations

  • Strong oral and written communications skills

  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)

  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Ability to upskill and train on technology and functional aspects of case management systems

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment

  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills

  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite intermediate required

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations intermediate required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in human resources, organizational management, law or equivalent major; or, additional four (4) years of required experience.

  • Five (5) years or more in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations required

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite intermediate required

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations intermediate required

Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market

data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or

certifications, etc. The salary for this position ranges from $60K to $75K
