As our Medical Billing Team Lead, you will assist in overseeing the workflow and day-to-day activities of our Follow-Up Team. You will assist in providing analytical expertise for the revenue cycle management process while identifying workflow issues and delivering solutions. Every day, you will monitor daily work flow and staff productivity while adhering to R1’s key revenue performance and quality metrics.

Having prior experience in healthcare billing and claims will provide you with an advantage in comprehending the department. We will teach you our industry-leading technology and a variety of medical terminology to perform at your best and feel good about what you do.

Here’s what you will experience working as our Medical Billing Team Lead:

• Assist in establishing and implementing departmental initiatives.

• Measure and monitor staffing levels, assign duties and responsibilities as appropriate.

• Prepare, analyze, and provide daily, weekly, and monthly productivity metrics.

• Facilitate meetings as needed.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Demonstrates strong leadership qualities and good decision-making abilities.

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $16.16 - $24.79 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
