Group Summary

About the Role

The position is responsible for the overall management of the production environment on assigned shift, including supervision and training of production supervisors. Provide direction to supervisors and employees to ensure plant efficiency, quality, and safety goals are met per the objectives of the organization.

This position works 100% on-site (not Hybrid).

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the production department under the guidance of the Operations Manager.

  • Work closely with supervisors to provide guidance in dealing with routing personnel issues and disciplinary problems.

  • Maintain excellent relationship with customer's staff to ensure delivery and quality issues are addressed.

  • Hold supervisors accountable for enforcing safety rules, policies, and procedures to make sure they are being consistently applied.

  • Practice and administer Continuous Improvement philosophies.

  • Other duties and Responsibilities as assigned by management.

Who we are looking for

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree

  • Requires a minimum of three years supervisory experience in a related manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Must be proficient in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software

  • Must have knowledge of JIT (Just in Time) communication devices and systems

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

  • High level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with management, employees, etc.

Your preferred qualifications

  • Previous automotive manufacturing experience highly preferred.
