Job Overview:

We are currently hiring for someone to join our team in St. Louis, MO as an Advanced Practice Nurse. In this role you will join a multi-disciplinary care team dedicated to providing comprehensive psychiatric and addiction medicine care to clients undergoing treatment for addiction. With a focus on medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and psychiatric intervention, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals recover from addiction and co-occurring psychiatric disorders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychiatric and addiction medicine care to clients engaged in addictions treatment, including medication management services and crisis stabilization.

  • Assess and treat psychiatric problems, utilizing your expertise in psychiatric care and addiction medicine.

  • Engage with patients who require medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for addiction disorders, ensuring comprehensive and personalized care.

  • Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team of technicians, counselors, and other medical/program staff to support clients in their recovery journey.

  • Collaborate with regional medical teams and participate in advanced practice provider huddles and didactic meetings to contribute to ongoing clinical development.

  • Maintain regular contact with collaborating physicians to ensure coordinated care and adherence to best practices.

    Education and Experience:

  • APRN licensed to practice in Missouri with psychiatric certification.

  • Eligible to obtain DEA license.

  • Experience in treating mental health issues, with a focus on addiction disorders.

  • Experience in treating individuals with addiction disorders using medication-assisted treatment (MAT), or a willingness to learn and develop expertise in this area.
