Cimarron Software Services, Inc. Manufacturing Engineer in Titusville, Florida

Cimarron is seeking mid-level and senior-levelManufacturing Engineersto support theMark 1 (MK1) Blue Moon lander program at Cape Canaveral in Florida. The MK1 is an autonomous large lunar cargo lander that will help deliver equipment and resources needed for lunar exploration. The selected candidates for this position will provide pre-production and production support for the program.

The selected candidates for this position will need to be able to work both the 1st and 2nd shifts.

This is an onsite position.

Key Duties:

  • Review for manufacturability and work order planning creation (engineering and test work orders) including but, not limited to, material bill of materials (MBOM), process development, assembly development, and operational floor services (Work Order Changes, Non-conformance, Engineering services).
  • Ensure that the subsystems and system design are manufacturableand that design releases (drawing and specifications) are ultimately translated into manufacturing work orders in the Jules work order system.
  • Ensure design requirements and eBOMs are translated into written work order planning, processes, MBOMs, and Production Readiness Review (PRR) objectives.
  • Design and work order development for fabrication and assembly.
  • Complete radiator productionprocess development and demonstration product assembly.
  • Release planning and work orders with the use of the Jules system following the build schedule.
  • Review design engineering (Drawing and Specifications) for manufacturability.
  • Deliver comments and changes on time for release.
  • Completeinstrumentation installation process development and sequencing to be ready for flight integration.
  • Finalize build sequencing and assembly orders as requested by lead manufacturing engineers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline and 5 or more years of professional experience, or Master's degree in a related discipline and 3 or more years of related experience.
  • Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
  • Available to work the 1st or 2nd shift, if needed.
  • Available to travel to Kent, WA, as needed.
  • Expertise in production manufacturing.
  • Experience supporting an aerospace program.

Additional requirements for Senior-Level Candidates:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline and 10 or more years of professional experience, or Master's degree in a related discipline and 8 or more years of related experience.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Experience with human rated aerospace system manufacturing and production.
