In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of Talent Acquisition for the Regional Japan business, from designing programs to supporting new recruits and planning future projects to align our hires with business needs. Working alongside our hiring managers, you will discover the next generation of people who will take Avanade to new heights.

You will develop sourcing strategies to meet current and future business needs, using a wide range of creative approaches to find the brightest and the best talent in the industry. As our front line to building a successful business, you are the face of our brand in the market, bringing the Avanade story to life in an authentic and personal way for candidates. You’ll make sure our recruiting processes are aligned to global, equitable, efficient and effective, and consider the Japan market and culture ensuring everything we do demonstrates Avanade’s culture of innovation and inclusion.

Internally, you will provide support and guidance on recruitment matters, and deliver our recruitment performance against plan. Together we do what matters.

What you’ll do:

  • Create and implement innovative recruiting strategies, programs, and initiatives to meet our growth objectives and business strategies.

  • Build solid relationships with global and area leaders, as well as vendors and suppliers.

  • Refine our recruiting processes to ensure our candidate experience is always outstanding.

  • Ensure Avanade is known across the region as an employer of choice.

  • Lead, Mentor and Coach your TA team

  • Define how we measure and continually improve our recruitment processes and culture.

  • Manage budgets and analyze recruitment metrics to identify ways to enhance performance.

  • Travel, as needed.

Skills and experiences:

You're the complete package: unique market insights and deep expertise in sourcing strategies and techniques backed by a program and project management background. You use your persuasive and dynamic interpersonal skills to advance the appreciation of talent throughout an organization and have a stellar track record liaising with executives to deliver innovative solutions to complex challenges.

You probably have a bachelor's degree in HR, Business or Psychology, although we’ll also consider equivalent work experience. We'd love it if you have an advanced degree. You also have more than eight years in recruiting with five years' experience leading people and teams and working in an operations-related capacity. Previous experience in a multi-national organisation with a highly matrixed environment is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrable results in improving the end-to-end recruitment process

  • Bilingual fluency in both Japanese and English is mandatory for this role.
