Position Summary Our Children's West St. Paul Clinic is looking for a BC/BE General Pediatric Physician to join our team. This is a part-time out-patient practice opportunity in a diverse community-based clinic that holds a strong health equities commitment. The West St. Paul Clinic has an excellent reputation within the community with very high patient satisfaction scores. License/Certification/Registration required? Yes * Board BE/BC in Pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics. * Completion of an ACGME Accredited Fellowship program, per sub specialty requirements. * Board BE/BC in Sub Specialty, if applicable. Ability to be successfully credentialed by both Hospital and 3rd Party Payers. Required Education: * Must have an M.D., D.O. or equivalent degree from another country with a current Minnesota Medical License or the ability to obtain one. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: * Clinical competency and expertise in caring for hospitalized children. * Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics. * Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications. * In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Respect for patient's confidentiality. * Compassionate and approachable. * Responsible and trustworthy. We carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Children's Minnesota. All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of an occupational health assessment, drug screen, background investigation, and compliance with the U.S. Government Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification. Children's Minnesota requires proof of COVID-19 vaccine, and as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), immunity to vaccine preventable infectious diseases, prior to employment.
